SERVICE LEARNING WAS A REAL SUCCESS THIS YEAR DUE TO THE OUTSTANDING EFFORTS SHOWN BY EVERY COMPANY. WITH ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION THOUGHOUT THE Text Box: WEEK WE WERE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY CLEAN THE ENTIRE BANK OF THE POND AND PLANT NEW PLANTS THAT WERE BROUGHT TO US BY JOHN MCGEE. WE STARTED OFF THE WEEK WITH MR. MCGEE COMING IN THE MORING AND SHOWNING THE EARLY BIRD COMPANIES HOW TO CLEAN UP THE POND, WE CONTINUED TO CLEAN UP THE POND THE REST OF THE Text Box: DAY, EVEN AFTER HE LEFT. THE NEXT DAY ON HIS RETURN IN THE AFTERNOON MR. MCGEE BROUGHT WITH HIM PLANTS THAT WERE TO BE PUT INTO THE POND. WE WORKED ON PUTTING IN THE NEW PLANTS AND CONTINUED TO CLEAN THE POND THOUGH THURSDAY. WE HAD OUR REFLECTION OF THE PROJECT FRIDAY. We always have great participation and I encourage anybody that wants to master rifle handling to come join us on Wednesdays and give Exhibition a shot. The members on the Exhibition put forth a ton of effort and time to put together our routines. If you see them around campus, give them a hand for their outstanding achievements. Good job at Districts getting 3rd place and an outstanding job at States; even though we hadn’t been debriefed. This Exhibition Team is very demanding, not only to handle a rifle, they have to be disciplined, creative, and open-minded. Blanchette, McCarthy, Norwood, and myself will be going and representing the Raven Battalion. Top teams from the state are going to be competing also.
